When the party gets going, it can be easy for grown-ups to forget that children can become bored very easily. In fact, it is not uncommon at all for adults to not even think about entertaining children until the children get so bored that they have to create their own form of entertainment—which tends to be a tad destructive, as any parent can tell you.
Instead of waiting till the last minute to come up with something that can keep the kids occupied, why not have a few games planned out in advance. There are all kinds of games that you can have for your party, some of which could be for the entire family, adults only or possibly just for the kids.
