Find ways to buy or rent formalwear at discounted prices, and share costs of stylish transportation. Instead of spending a ton of money at the salon, ask a neighbor or family member to do your makeup for the evening. With a little work and ingenuity, you can find ways to cut your Prom costs, without sacrificing fun.

To compensate for a lack of alcohol, keep your guests entirely entertained. Rent inflatable novelties and large-scale decorations. Make the party seem larger than life, and keep the food, beverages, and music at full tilt.
